The board has been busy this month working on budgetary issues and scholarships. Important but not so newsworthy.

We are so grateful of your donations. Our tithe this month will benefit Unity communities impacted by the hurricanes through the fund from Unity Worldwide Ministries.

Take one step, set one intention then watch. Eighteen years ago Portland Unity had a Halloween party, and 18 years later it’s still happening! Some say Halloween is one of the few times adults get to be children! Well I know that’s not my truth, this particular Halloween celebration is multigenerational and joyful. . .

YOU Retreat

"Essence of You"

38 people from 9 Northwest Region ministries participated in this wonderful weekend full of connection, growth and fun! We explored the theme "Essence of You" and how we each let our unique light shine. Thank you for supporting our Region's youth with your love, prayers, and donations!

IYOU Chapter X

Chapter X is an online Youth of Unity chapter. This is an ideal place for high schoolers that don't have other people their age at their ministry to experience community, make meaningful connections, and learn Unity's core teachings. This year the curriculum is based on the book The Five Principles by Ellen Debenport. Chapter X meets every two weeks and the next meetings are November 3rd & 17th. Learn more and register here.

Chapter X also has a resource library including 13 recorded lessons from last year when they covered Heart-Centered Metaphysics by Rev. Paul Hasselbeck. These are an easy way to introduce curriculum to a fledgling YOU group and require very little preparation. These lessons are all presented by YOUers and you can access those resources here.
