Kids Camp
June 30th-July 3rd in Vernonia, OR
The theme for Kids Camp this year is "Building Belonging" and the counselors created this mission statement: As leaders, we inspire community through fun experiences while fostering a safe and understanding environment.
Kids camp is for youth ages 7-11. Camp activities include: large group funshops, small family groups, singing, meditation, swimming, hiking, games and prayers.

We will have community gatherings, small group discussions & experiences, a Challenge course, swimming and a rather long slip n'slide! YOU Rally
“The Light of You”
April 19-21 in Randle, WA
The Youth of Unity (YOU) Rally is a 3-day communion with Spirit. Daily activities include large group workshops, small group discussions, singing, meditation, dancing, prayer and vespers. YOUers must be at least 14 years old [or in ninth grade] & no more than 18 years old [or high school senior].

YOU Leadership Empowerment Training
23 participants from around the US gathered online March 22-24 for the "Spreading Our Wings" training. The weekend featured workshops entitled, My Leadership Style, Sponsor Basics, Fundraising, Marketing & Outreach, and more! Participants used the information from the workshops to create a practical plan to help their YOU group thrive!

As spring is here with our thoughts turning to warmer and longer days, we rejoice in the season of Light and renewal!
We are so grateful to our Board President, Jane Hiatt and all that she brings to us with her light and love. Jane is on a well-deserved sabbatical and I know she is being revived with so many blessings and that she will be filled with new ideas to bring back to all of us!
As your co-treasurer of the board and Chair of our upcoming Minister’s/Spiritual Leader retreat in September I am so excited to share news about our retreat with you. We have planned a retreat that will allow you time for connection, relaxation and rejuvenation! Here is a little about our retreat:

Celebrating our YFM Staff
We have many amazing individuals in our Unity NW Region that give generously of their time and gifts. Two that we want to recognize and celebrate are Nick Muncie-Jarvis and Chris Castaldi, our amazing youth and family staff. For many years, Chris and Nick have been creating a rich variety of experiences and events for our youth. Their dedication has provided a steady presence for our regional youth programs. The NW Regional Board considers it important to value our YFM staff by making a cost of living adjustment to their salary, which has not occurred for years. The exceedingly high interest rates in recent years makes this an even greater consideration.
Investing in Nick and Chris is an important investment in our youth. Thank you in advance for your generous tithes and donations to the region that go to support our dedicated staff. Thank you Nick and Chris for your creativity and commitment to our youth!
