Hello Unity NW Region Friends,
The Unity NW Region Board of Trustees invites you to join us for our annual business meeting on Monday, September 9th at 5:30 pm PDT via zoom. The zoom link for the meeting will be included in the September regional newsletter and posted on the regional website by the beginning of September.
Included on the agenda will be a review and vote on proposed bylaw changes. The proposed bylaw changes primarily include:
- Change of terms for the Chair of the Board to be mindful of pronouns.
- Allowance for online meetings
- Separating the annual business meeting from an annual conference.
All proposed changes are included in track changes in the attached version of the amended bylaws.
A reminder that there are still spaces available for our fall regional retreat for ministers, LUTs, and other spiritual leaders from September 16th – 18th. Registration is on the website and a block of rooms has been reserved at a special price through the end of August. We look forward to sharing a time of renewal, creativity, and connection with one another.
