Happy Valentine’s Day to you. Let’s feast on Divine Love.
Valentine’s Day, also called Feast of St. Valentine’s Day, holiday (February 14) when lovers express their affection with greetings and gifts. The holiday has origins in the Roman festival of Lupercalia, held in mid-February. The festival, which celebrated the coming of spring, included fertility rites and the pairing off of women with men by lottery. At the end of the 5th century, Pope Gelasius I replaced Lupercalia with St. Valentine’s Day. It came to be celebrated as a day of romance from about the 14th century. Encyclopaedia Britannica
What if we decide to celebrate Divine Love in our country and the world this February 14th? What would you do? What would it look like for you? Let’s dream big, use our powers of Imagination and Love and celebrate the Good that is here now and on the 15th.

I’m involved in a pray class that the first month we’re to think of something we want (physical thing) regularly and see how it shows up. I could not think of a thing at first. After class I saw my 6 little succulent plants given to me for my birthday. Sent 2 a month for 3 months. I’ll start dreaming a container for them, because I don’t want them to die.
We were to e-mail back and forth about what we were manifesting. Many were emailing and sharing about how much fun this was and how some of things had manifested in such unexpected ways. They were so enthusiastic. I sure wasn’t enthusiastic. I realized that all the little succulents represented more to do for me. A need to not let them die. I did look through the free things on Next Door Neighbor for a container. I set up a place for the new container and bought succulent planting mix. As more people responded using words like fun and joy, even excitement. I said to myself, what would give me great joy and fun? The first thing that came to mind is a trip – a trip anywhere. We haven’t been anywhere for so long. I was enthused about this idea. I could envision myself having fun in the sun. About four days later friends called they had a large three-bedroom condo for a week near Phoenix at the beginning of March. Would we like to join them? They informed us the airfare was very low today. My husband John immediately said, yes. The next week John got an e-mail from Holland America cruise line, he could have a outside state room for free for two people on one of 8 Alaska cruises this summer. Thinking there may be a catch or something. He called Holland America. All we would need to pay is port taxes and gratuities. They asked for each of us to deposit $200 in the ship account for expenses on board or excursions. We chose a cruise in and out of Seattle in late July, so no travel expense. We have been to Alaska before and have done the excursions; we will just get off the ship and explore the cities. We didn’t have time for that on the other cruises.
Wow, when we ask, we need to dream big and/or be totally open to what comes with joy and enthusiasm. I AM excited and looking forward to these trips and am so grateful.
Abundant Blessings to all of you,
Barbara Thorp, LUT
